Dragons and Japan

Journal Entry: Sat Nov 21, 2009, 11:46 PM
I had the most amazing honor this week. The yinyang dragons are going to Japan. I presented them to their new owner on Friday and Dr. Ukifune and his companions loved them. It was quite simply an experience of a lifetime all in one day. I was also given the honor of being allowed to call the oriental breed I created for this piece the Jikeinian. I met and spoke with a group of amazing people on Nov. 20, 2009, but most of all I know that my dragons will be cared for. That is the one thing above all that I wish for each piece I make.

Also, I was asked to do a Tiger. I'm really looking forward to the challenge and the adventure this new sculpture will take me on.

I'm an English Major who spends more time working with ceramics than I do working on my papers. Though if they'd let me write whatever genre of fiction I want instead of Lit Crit the situation would be flipped. ^_^

I also have a healthy addiction to Anime and fanfiction! Currently I'm watching Bleach.

Thanks! I try. Hopefully I'll be putting some new ones up. Welll...since they're commissions I will be putting them up, but I really need more than 24 hrs in a day. ^_^;

You´re welcome! =)

Cool! I really like your dragons. Of what are they made of?

They're clay. I'm firing them to about Cone 5 mostly. The colors are mason stains mixed with clear glazes. :)

Cool! I had work with clay, but I´m not that good.

Hi, I wanted to let you know your Dragons are so beautiful. And also I am so glad I Won the bid! I have already decided on colors. LOL

Thank you so much for making Moonridge a part of your Journal during and post the Online Auction.

I will be sure to send you some pictures I take at the Zoo in June. : )
:iconnightshadow-t2:
That will be wonderful! Oh, can you do me a favor and try and get a picture of Garrett when Aly gives him his surprise from me? If you've been browsing on here, I'm sure you can guess what it is. -_^ Shhhh. I think it's a secret?
We'll get together about yours as soon as Aly sends me my email saying I can.
I couldn't resist putting Moonridge up here. ^_^ And I'm still hoping that other people will pick up the other ones that are in the special/claim section.

Welcome! It's a totally awesome piece. I love the feathers. They don't work so well with my pieces, so I enjoy them on other's work. ^_^

Yay! Someone else who loves the Labyrinth and knows the characters of Gundam Wing. Awesome. Great dragon work, keep it coming.
